Acre Housing has appointed Four Star to undertake several projects on its behalf over the past decade. These have ranged in value from £50K – £65K over the last three years. As one of our preferred contractors, Four Star undertake refurbishment and modifications to properties purchased by the charity. This entails upgrading and modify the accommodation so that it meets the needs of people with learning disabilities. (The schedule of works now excludes the conversion of bathrooms to wet rooms, where Acre Housing has chosen to use a specialist contractor).
When work is commissioned by Acre Housing, the timeframe is often critical so that the lives of people we support are not disrupted unduly. Four Star have always worked with us in a very positive and flexible way to accommodate those needs. The general cooperative and friendly nature of the workforce makes the relationship a pleasurable one from our perspective.
